I graduated from the Mohawk College Electrical Engineering Technology 

What was your BTech DCP Stream at McMaster?

Power and Energy Engineering Technology

What is your current Job Title and Employer?

My current job title is a Field Service Engineer for Wajax Power Generation 

Why did you choose the BTech Degree Completion Program? 

I decided to enter McMaster’s  Bachelor of Technology program because I wanted to further separate myself from the competition and to potentially open the door to future paths such as obtaining my MEng degree or my P.Eng.

What is your most memorable BTech moment?

My most memorable moments in the Degree Completion Program have been studying alongside my amazing classmates. I’ve met some great people that have helped me grow in the engineering field along the way.

What opportunities has your BTech degree helped you to pursue?

BTech has advanced my career substantially. I began as an electrician and now can bridge the gap between engineers and tradespeople. 

Why do you recommend this program? 

For future students, I highly recommend the program. The program doesn’t just build knowledge but also character and perspective. These are great attributes that are coveted by employers and will help you separate yourself from other job applicants and help you get the job.
