Black Opportunities in STEM Series

BOSS Winter/Spring 2025 Workshops with McMaster Engineering Community Outreach

BOSS breaks down stereotypes and fosters a sense of belonging in STEM, where Black folks have been historically underrepresented. These workshops provide mentorship opportunities, engaging conversations, and the ability for youth to see themselves as potential post-secondary students. These workshops resonate with the daily lived experiences of Black youth, which helps them connect and relate the subject matter to their own lives and communities.
