Faculty members affiliated with the W Booth School will participate on various panels at PIVOT TECH ’24, a Hamilton-based conference focused on the sustainability advantage in energy, buildings and manufacturing. Jim Cotton will contribute to a discussion on the power of thermal networks, Kate Whalen will moderate a discussion with young entrepreneurs in the clean tech space, and Dr. Greg Zilberbrant, presents the role of circular economy action and the connection to decarbonization for renewable energy systems.. A featured talk will be delivered by John Preston on McMaster’s nuclear enterprise. This day-long, in-person event will take place on November 14 at the Cotton Factory in downtown Hamilton.
