Simay Akar Koehler is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur and a leading expert in sustainable energy. As CEO and founder of AK Energy Consulting, she provides strategic solutions for clean energy technologies, environmental impact assessments, and carbon management. With extensive experience in photovoltaic manufacturing, battery storage, and electric vehicles, she has held leadership roles in multinational enterprises worldwide. Simay is a Senior Member of IEEE, a dedicated industry volunteer since 2007, and an advocate for sustainable development. She holds a degree from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, and has participated in Stanford University’s Energy Innovation program. Passionate about empowering future leaders, Simay continues to drive innovation and transformation in the energy sector.
