Leaders in Training
Mac Eng Community Outreach will be offering the Leaders in Training (LIT) Program for Summer 2025.
This opportunity is available to students in Grades 9 to 12 as of September 2025.
This is a developmental program that aims to give high school students leadership opportunities that promote STEM education in alignment with McMaster’s Engineering Community Outreach goals. LIT students are integral to the success of summer programs, and will be under the guidance and mentorship of our program instructors.
The LIT program gives high school students the opportunity to achieve approximately 70 hour of work experience and qualifies as “volunteer hours” a graduation requirement for Ontario High Schools.
The LIT application from will open on Feb 18th and will close April 30th, 2025.
