Co-op, career & experience

The Engineering Co-op Program
provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to gain valuable engineering work and experiential learning opportunities before they graduate. 

Our program is flexible, supported and accessible for all.

• Direct entry from high school, and available in all degree options.
• The co-op designation on your degree is achieved upon completion of a minimum of 12 months of registered work experience.
• Additional co-op experience is available up to a total maximum of 24 months (4-year programs) or 28 months (5-year programs).
• For maximum flexibility, options include 4-month summer work terms or 8-month to 16-month continuous work-terms.
