Dr. Sheardown holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair Ophthalmic Biomaterials and Drug Delivery Systems. She is an expert in drug delivery, contact lens materials, IOLs, polymer chemistry, and bioengineering in the ophthalmic space.
