Michelle George is Senior Vice President and Chief Transition Officer at Enbridge Gas Inc. and a member of Enbridge’s Executive Leadership Team. She is responsible for driving organizational change and initiatives that enable growth, position the company to capture new opportunities, and ensure we continue to add value to our customers and stakeholders. She works closely with senior leadership and across businesses to streamline business processes, enhance competitiveness and sustain high performance in service of Enbridge’s mission to be the first choice for energy delivery in North America and beyond.
George was elected as a Fellow into the Canadian Academy of Engineering in 2022 and was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by the Women’s Executive Network in 2019. She is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Management degree from McMaster University.

Angela Pappin is known for her strong industry leadership and expertise in market and product development, engineering, energy management, manufacturing and corporate strategy. In 2014, Pappin was appointed to ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s Executive Team, as VP Technology, after having held senior roles throughout technology including General Manager, Metallurgy and Quality, and Business Unit Manager of Cold Roll and Tinplate Technology. Then in 2018, she was appointed VP Manufacturing at ArcelorMittal Dofasco – the first female to ever hold the role in the company’s 106-year history.
She now serves as Chief Transformation Officer, where she works to accelerate the company’s adoption of technology and challenge assumptions about work processes. She’s also an involved mentor for women and girls pursuing a career in STEM and is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, offering input and guidance on choosing future directions for McMaster’s Faculty of Engineering.

Prior to Guavus Faizel was the President, COO, and Board Member of SS8; a network intelligence company. Before SS8, Faizel was the vice president of Data Loss Prevention at McAfee, responsible for the DLP business worldwide. Faizel joined McAfee through the acquisition of Reconnex, where he was the vice president of products and marketing.

Howard Shearer, the son of Jamaica’s third Prime Minister the late Hugh Shearer, came to Canada as an International student to study at McMaster University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1977.
After working at a number of high-tech firms after graduation, Howard moved in 1984 to Hitachi Canada Limited, an International Japanese firm. He moved through the ranks to Chief Executive Officer and President to Chief Executive today. He served on the McMaster Board of Governors and is currently on the Faculty of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Board.

Sean Donnelly is the former President & CEO of ArcelorMittal Dofasco after serving previously as Vice President, Manufacturing and Vice President, Technology, and a series of other positions since he joined the company in 1981.
Tireless advocate for the steel industry, Sean was at the forefront of the steel-making renaissance in Canada. Identifying a need for future qualified engineers and technology, he was, and continues to be a strong promoter in the development of academic partnerships. Sean believes that it is important to blend the strengths of industry and universities to train skilled human resources for the current and future needs of Canada.
